Self-Care Sundays Winter Solstice Celebration

  • The Guest House 541 Forest Avenue Bellevue, PA, 15202 United States (map)

Before the sugar plums in your head go from dancing to mosh pitting, take a moment to pause and honor both the changing season and yourself with an afternoon of somatic self-care.

Join me and Stephanie Trounce of Stephanie Trounce Healing in the borough of Bellevue for a Winter Solstice Celebration on Sunday December 22. Please arrive by 2pm.

The Winter Solstice marks the longest night of the year in the northern hemisphere. Despite the dark nights and frozen ground, the hope of renewal still burns within the earth. We are reminded not only of the resilience of nature but also the hopeful resilience within ourselves.

Our afternoon together will include somatic healing arts designed for connection, setting intentions and affirmations for a peaceful and prosperous winter season, and a cacao tea ceremony.

Cacao is a medicine of love with an extensive history of use among a variety of indigenous peoples for her support in boosting energy, offering grounding and protection, and opening the heart. She is dynamic, magical, and powerful - and she knows exactly which part of her medicine we need.

While we sip our drinks and nibble light fare, you can enjoy time socializing and connecting with other like-minded soul travelers.

Energy Exchange: $45. No bird-related gifts will be accepted, even if you do find a sweet BOGO deal on turtle doves.

Your ticket will be added to the Cart after you submit your contact information. Then go to the Cart tab at the top of the page to complete your purchase and get your self-care on!

Street parking is available, but limited. Consider carpooling or public transportation. The 13 stops literally across the street.

Before a jolly man with a long white beard slides down your chimney to stuff your stockings with gifts, give yourself the gift of self-care. Show up for yourself so you can show up for your friends and family with presence AND presents.
